Dang good shandy. Fruity, flavorful, and juicy. You can taste the weiss beer in the background, and it gives a slight sort of earthiness to the blackberry that compliments it. It's like drinking a blackberry freshly picked from the bush. It's sweet, but offset by the beer enough so that it's not straight sugary juice. Very approachable and I bet it would kick ass on a hot day.

It looks pretty like rosy champagne. Big head. Smells fabulously fruity and sweet. Taste follows the nose and it's sweet and fruity. It has just of hint of bitterness on the back end. Neutralizes the sweetness. It's tasty. Super easy drinking. It's better than I imagined. My daughter bought it and left it behind. I've been dreading it but i tried it and it turned out okay. Some girls would love this stuff. Poured into a tulip glass from a 12 ounce bottle dated DEC1019.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 12/10/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/amber, light orange/pink color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/fairly tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, cracker, honey, and white bread; with light notes of pepper, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of blackberries, citrus, fruity yeast, honey; and light-moderate pale/wheat malt, earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/fairly tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, cracker, honey, and white bread; with light notes of pepper, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; yeast spiciness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, cracker, honey, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of blackberries, citrus, fruity yeast, honey; and light-moderate pale/wheat malt, earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is an excellent shandy. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of blackberries, citrus, fruity yeast, honey; and light-moderate pale/wheat malt, earthy hop flavors; extremely smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of juicy/fairly jammy berries, vibrant citrus, honey, and classic fruity/yeasty American pale wheat ale flavors. No residual sweetness from crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Best one of the series I've had yet.

Look - poured from a 12 oz bottle. Translucent, reddish-orange in color, one finger head with some retention.
Smell - some wheat, but really sweet, almost like a fruit punch. It is a shandy, so I'm not too surprised by the excessive sweetness, though not really my thing.
Taste - much more wheat character, and not as sweet as the smell, which is good. No hop flavor, and a bit watery, but still with a refreshing finish.
Feel - light bodied, high carbonation, and low ABV at 4.2%.
Overall - this style of beer has never been my thing, but I judge out of its style, not so much personal enjoyment. Featured as a shandy, the beer is true to its style, gets the job done, and is a refreshing beer for the summer/early fall.

Nice and fruity and that's about it. No bells and whistles just another fruity beer from Leinenkugel. It does go down smooth and no after taste with this beer

Whoa. Does this one have some sweetness to it. I do usually like the Shandy category of beer, this one makes it sweet and almost to a point where it does not taste like beer, it kind of tastes like a bite into a Berry, this is sweet but it does have some beer flavoring to it.

12oz bottle poured into Duvel tulip. NOV2618 stamped on the neck glass. So presumably this one still has 2 months of freshness still in it.

Appearance - One finger sudsy white head with medium-low retention and moderate, fine lacing. Opaque peach body and decent carbonation. 4

Smell - Faint unidentified fruit and dry cardboard. 3

Taste - Acidic berry and ass. 2.5

Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied, with lots of sharp bite up front and mellows out a faint astringent finish. 2.25

Overall - Unimpressive at best, slightly offensive at worst. 2.75

I love it when the person who adds a beer also reviews it. I thought it might be the same as their Berry Weiss, but the website lists this as a different beer. Poured from a 24 oz. can. Has a pinkish/golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of berries, somewhat sweet. Taste is blackberries, some sweetness, slightly tart, very easy drinking. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.
