Lakeside Cherry is a crisp and refreshing beer made using real cherry juice and was inspired by Rose Leinenkugel, who mortgaged her family home to save the Leinenkugel’s business after Prohibition. The use of cherries creates a rose-colored beer, honoring Rose and all pioneering, resilient women like her.

Hazy deep orange color with a white head that was not very persistent
Smells malty and like cherry
Tastes tart and like cherry soda
Pretty smooth and very drinkable
I decided to try these with burkesbongsnbeers because we both love Summer Shandys. I think these are a very good option to change it up on occasion

good beer I bought it because of the summer shandy.
the look of this beer is a orangish caramel color with a small white head.
the smell is lightly of cherry.
good mix of cherry taste and beer.

Like the name this beer was named after, this cherry beer is rosé colored and topped with a foamy, soapy head which is leaving splashes of lacing around the glass. It smells like cherry juice, and that aroma is quick on its feet; it's simple, appetizing, and easy to decipher. Think it's going to taste like cherry juice, right? Well, this is where things change. A quick snap of cherry is tasted before the base beer brings out simple beer bread flavor. This is a cherry beer made for the lakeside; canoeing, fishing, swimming, whatever the activity this would be a serviceable option that's a step above a plain lager.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of fake cherry, caramel and little else. It tasted like a generic cherry soda that you'd buy a grocery store. Not a cherry cola but a cherry soda.

Poured into a pint glass and it revealed a cloudy rose color with a white head that dissipates somewhat quickly yet leaving just a little bit of lacing around the glass.
Smell is of malts and cherries.
Taste is a wide variety of cherries from tart to sweet.
Overall, a good brew; the aftertaste left a semi sweet cherry on the palate; it seems that Leinenkugel likes to experiment with different flavors when they come out when a new flavor and they are usually spot on when it comes to taste.

Mild cherry flavor not aggressively tart or sweet just soda like with a good malt grain finish. Not sure I would get it again but it wasn't offensive.
