This pale-colored stout is brewed with pale malts instead of dark roasted malts, giving it a lighter color white still having rich stout flavors. It has decadent notes of white chocolate paired with vanilla. Balanced with roasted coffee aromas, this beer is made with oats and wheat that contribute to its body.

This is a fantastic pale stout and leaves behind some of the less attractive bitterness found in dark roasted stouts. This is a stout that has a much broader appeal with sweet wheat and defined nose of white mocha. The body and mouth feel are 100% stout. Would love to see this on the shelf year round, as I could pair and drink solo anytime.
This is a stout for stout drinkers and for those that prefer complex and full body wheat beers.

12 oz. can pours a clear golden amber with average white head and a little lacing. Not much to smell. Aroma has lots of vanilla, cream, some white chocolate, but no roasted malts. Taste is sweet -- more like a cream soda than a beer or a stout. I don't detect any hops bitterness or coffee bitterness. Body is medium with a smooth mouthfeel and not too much carbonation. This is a tough one to classify. I doubt if I'll try it again.

White Mocha Stout pours a darker copper color, very clean, with a small, long-lasting head. The aroma is sweet, sugary, with hints of mocha. The flavor is much the same, sugary sweet, light, but noticeable rich mocha flavors mixed in. A bit flat. Overall, a nice stout, rich and sweet.

Poured into a wide. mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is gold, clear, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents 1/4 inch thick then dissipates to nothing but slight ring along glass side.
Smell is light cocoa, vanilla, creme, some coffee, no roasted malts.
Taste is lightly sweet with cocoa, creme, vanilla, touch of coffee, no roasted malts.
Mouthfeel is moderate but biting carbonation, moderate sweetness, no real bitterness.
Overall a cream soda like beer and not really a 'white stout' as the flavor is more creme and light coffee, touch of cocoa.

Pours clear golden yellow with a thick white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is vanilla and coffee. Flavor follows the nose with a hint of white chocolate joining in. Slightly sweet. Feel is light bodied with low carbonation. Overall, an enjoyable beer that I would purchase on its own (This was part of a mixed variety 12pack.)

Okay so this is a pastry beer... So I ask what does white mocha taste like.... Sweet white chocolate coffee some vanilla.... And cream...
I opened it up and I'm like... what's that smell... Then the nose test...Ooh yeah... It's dessert... I could smell chocolate coffee and maybe something nutty... Wow it was robust... Poured well and surprisingly light for a stout... Golden SRM probably a 7... It was lively and had a nice head, quite white... Taste... what a familiar taste... Coffee, chocolate, almond bark, that nutty smell? vanilla, definitely vanilla ... Then cream kicked in late but that's definitely cream... wow!
I don't think of Leinenkugel's as a real "craft brewer"... But oh man... This is unique.... Strangly it is light in color... but it matches the name... ... I guess they would call it a blonde stout...The only downside I would imagine is... how did they get these tastes into the beer... Don't worries...It's dessert and it's delicious... And for me very unique...

Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass in December 2025. I do not see any dates stamped on the label or bottle. I drank this about 1 month after I purchased it.
Appearance: Dark-Golden with 2-finger head. The head was tan, and lasted for a couple minutes. It left almost no lacing on the glass, and a very thin head remained.
Smell: Mild mix of aromas including roasted coffee, roasted malts, and chocolate aromas. Not much hop style citrus or pine aromas.
Taste: There is taste of coffee, and sweetness from the roasted malts. Very little hoppy flavors.
Mouth-feel: Light, smooth, and creamy body. Not as heavy as other stouts, but enjoyable. There is a low alcohol presence that matches 5.6% advertised.
This is an interesting Stout. The roasted malt flavors contrast with the golden appearance. It has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer, with a nice balance. It was interesting to try, but not sure if I would buy it again.

Light aroma. Clear amber color. Vanilla flavors with a bit of a fizz. Moderate to high carbonation.
Overall, I rather enjoyed this beer. The flavor and feel are clean and pleasant. Pared well with dinner. I find it to be another quality beer from Leinenkugel.
