Copenhagen 23/4 2022. 75 cl bottle from Mikkeller web-shop. And old book in front of an open door leading into a cultivated landscape with corn fields and blue sky.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a small white head. Settles as thi rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet malty odor mingling with slightly funky, yeasty scent. Sweet pale malts, citrus, humid cellar, sour cheese.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and a bit searing. Lingers for while. Dry finish.
A tight and dry Saison with a light touch of funk.
