Pours deep and dark. Khaki head forms for a spell and slowly tapers off. Decent retention. Clumpy lacing.
Nose is a low sweetness version of cocoa, caramel, and a sublime roasted peanut note.
Flavor follows the nose nicely. Smooth and slightly sweet, the malts also have a hint of roast. Then a rich roasted peanuts meets a hint of toffee.
Mouthfeel is full, just shy of chewy. Undertone of ABV warmth contributes near the finish.
