On tap at Jaxon’s / Barrel & Stave in Fullerton, CA.
Beautiful deep amber tinged brown in hue. Mocha colored fluff sticks around for the whole ride. Layered soapy lacing.
Nose has a smooth, earthy roasted malt note to start things off.
Flavor follows with a roast up front, followed by some brown bread notes and just don’t ever so subtle hard to nail down fruity note. Kind of dry and subtly bitter on the back end.
Decent carbonation for style. Again, it finishes kind of dry and earthy and it’s bitterness a tad thin for style.
