I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the brewery in Prague.
Appearance: rich dark brown hue with a finger of creamy tan foam.
Smell: caramelly and yeasty with a bit of a dry, astringent character. Not too bad.
Taste: sweet malt with a caramelly character, like the aroma, but also with a biscuity note that’s not my favorite. Yeasty, as the style often is, with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty decent dark lager, although the malt has a kind of biscuity character I don’t love.
