In 2025, there will once again be a new creative Zusammenhalbe from the Nuremberg Brewing Association. The unfiltered lager was brewed together with the 12-member team from the P-Seminar at Hans Sachs Gymnasium in the Schanzenbräu brewery. For one day, the students accompanied Schanzenbräu master brewer Markus Mann at work and actively supported him.
In addition to the Hallertauer Tradition hop variety, the Polaris variety was also used, which combines intense, pleasantly fruity aromas with a refreshing note.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the school project has been represented at the beer festival – as always, the proceeds will go to a charitable organization. This year, the proceeds will be donated to the Nürnberger Tafel food bank, hence the slogan “Mahlzeit Malz – Ein Bier das Teller füllt” (Mealtime Malt – A beer that fills your plate).
Incidentally, the project is not just about enjoying beer for the students: chemistry, the biology of alcohol consumption, the theory of beer brewing, and topics such as the health effects of alcohol and addiction are also on the curriculum.

On tap at the Fränkisches Bierfest. Mostly clear gold with a finger of white foam, decently carbonated. Very floral in the nose, with bready malts, honey, and slight grass on the finish. Taste is floral forward as well, but the malts and slight hops compliment well with flavors of fresh baked bread, and a faint stream of caramel underneath it all. Feel is springy, bready, and somewhat crisp. The gang loved it.
