Quite an impressive fruit to beer with a good amount of raspberry flavor. Not getting much in terms of milk sugars honey maybe a slight bit of plums but it is rather balanced hiding the 7% ABV quite well. I really did like this beer one of the better beers I picked up at the gibsonia giant eagle for just a couple bucks

Got a can - dates 2/04. The best part about this beer is the feel. So thin. Really easy drink for 7%. The rest however is average at best. Not a ton of tartness nor any amazing fruity flavors. I get a lot of lemon but not a lot of milk/sugar. This beer is fine. Nicely balanced

Solid beer however, the red currant dominates it, and tastes like a liquid jolly rancher. I don’t taste any milk sugar at all. It’s not necessarily milkshake style however, it’s still a good sour beer.

Notes via stream of consciousness: So, firstly, what do we have here? It's a "milkshake style sour ale brewed with milk sugar, honey, plum and raspberries". It's a collaboration beer done with Rotunda Brewing Company. It's poured a llightly hazy peach-orange colored body beneath a massive head of very fine-bubbled creamy white foam. There's a little bit of a pinkish color to the foam, and it's taking quite some time to drop which is unusual for a sour beer. ... ... OK, well that took a few moments but now I've got it all topped up and there's just a thin cap of foam. The aroma is generically fruity and heavily mineralish. It smells a little like a Flintstones vitamin. As we all recall they didn't taste so good so let's hope the flavor is better than the aroma... and it is! It's tart but not what I'd call "sour". The raspberry comes through clearly although it's not that bold. It's also authentic tasting which is nice. This is a little bit like drinking raspberry juice mixed with some seltzer. The plum...? Well I get that more at the swallow, and then the honey shows a little bit in the finish. It's not bitter at all, but it doesn't need to be because of the acidity, and it finishes dry and fruity with that delicate note of honey coming out to play. Overall I have to say that this is really nicely done. In the mouth it's got a touch of an acidic bite, and along with the fine-bubbled carbonation it gently bristles on the tongue. Looking back, the head didn't last and it left no lacing behind but I was expecting that as sour beers rarely do. So, in the end I've had beers like this before with mixed reviews. It can be especially difficult to obtain a pleasant balance between acidity, fruitiness, and malt - and quite often the lactose is overdone but that's not the case here. I should also point out that now that it's warmed a bit I'm getting much more of the plum coming through. I'm going to give two thumbs up to this one. Nicely done!
