Yellow pour into an Arrogant Bastard pint glass, makes sizeable 1.33" white head on top. Cool label. Slight chill haze to it. Rudy can't fail. Aroma on that biscuit barley trip. Hallertau blanc hops didn't jump out at me. Slight dusty twang of bitterness to the nose.
The taste for similar reasons just didn't pipe Hallertau blancs to the dome. Just really gathered nothing tropical nor grape like out of it. Also still not pulling yeast notes. That a bittering like hop was there, I could get, but it didn't really offer much in the way of flavor, just bitterness in the mouthfeel. Heavier than average breadiness for an American lager.
I guess the one thing that stood out for me on this beer was the lack of hop flavor, but plenty of hop bitterness. These beers show up at Speedway in Fallon, they tend to be kind of notorious for having super old product. This might be where I got this one from.

Canned 2022/02/10
Pours a large frothy 2 finger fluffy head with moderate retention, fair sticky lacing, semi clear slight small sized sediment, golden honey color
Nose mild floral herbs, a bit of cereal sweet grainy malt, bread dough, herbal floral hops
Taste semi sweet grainy malt, a bit of straw, cereal, doughy, more floral-herbal sage-like herbs, flora grassy hops, light bitterness, a bit more of the bitterness lingering on the finish
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, soft lager like, med frothy carb
Overall meh, it's OK, nothing special, not sure about those sage-like floral-herbal characters

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of biscuit and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, clean and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager is easy to drink and doesn't have any "off" aromas or flavors.
