This is probably one of the best stouts I've ever had. They list 5 ingredients and I swear I can taste them all: marshmallow, caramel, brownies, peanuts, and cookies and.cream ice cream. Not to be missed!

Appearance:  On draft. It's so dark it appears black if you look at it too quickly. But on closer inspection it's a very dark drown with a slight amber hue. 1cm of dirty brown creamy head that didn't stick around long, save for a lot of lacing.

Aroma:  Strong notes of store-bought sugary peanut butter with chocolate along with butterscotch. Smells like liquid Butterfinger candy.

Taste:  Very rich. Milk chocolate mixed with bittersweet chocolate. Heavy cream with added sugar. Peanut butter. Imagine a Fluffer Nutter with added chocolate. And then cover it in cookies 'n' cream ice cream.

Feel:  Sticky. Thick. Creamy. Medium-low carbonation. All are good for the style.

Overall:  It's extremely rich, but the style and description should've been a big clue to that. If you're into candybar beers, this one is rock solid. Let it warm up a bit and the edges really soften into a lovely dessert beer. You don't normally hear the word "complexity" with this style, but as others have noted, this is like 4 desserts mixed into one.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of cookies, chocolate, marshmallow and toffee sweetness. Very sweet tasting beer that tasted like about 10 desserts at the same time.

Decent head production but poor retention. Body is a touch murky and even brownish.

Aroma is fantastic and immediately rich, sweet, and rewarding, with notes of chocolate, prune, vanilla, cola, and a lot, lot more chocolate.

Unsurprisingly, perhaps, it drinks a bit thin on the palate, albeit very smooth.

Just as unsurprisingly, it's incredibly rich on the palate. Peanuts, mostly absent from the nose, quickly make their presence known in the front third, mixing with the chocolate notes. Cookies and cream flavors are present on the back third (and likely mixed in with the chocolate and vanilla throughout most of the sip).

This is an insane - and insanely tasty - dessert stout in a fairly modest ABV package (as far as pastry stouts go). Absolutely delightful!
