Reviewed on 09/14/2009. On tap at SPH. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of bready malt and floral hops. Flavor is similar, lots of bready malt, toasted malt, floral hops, with a bitter finish. Not as hoppy as I had hoped, but decent and very drinkable. Overall a nice fresh hopped beer.

On tap at the KSBF '08. They told me this one was kegged 2 weeks earlier.
Poured a medium and lightly hazy golden color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of mainly floral hops with some citrus and grassiness. Tastes of the same floralness with some citrus and toastiness.

Poured a deep copper hue with a half finger of white froth. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured a sharp piney hop with an extremely neat and clean grainy malt.
The taste was well balanced and consisted of a clean hop bitterness and dry malt.
The mouthfeel was toward the drier side of the style.
Overall a delicious and extremely hoppy and dry example of the style.

Pours a hazed orange amber. Gentle citrus hops aroma. Really nice. Real grassy flavor profile. Very distinct. Smooth feel helps make it easy to drink. An interesting example of Long Island hops in a beer. Very bright, but balanced enough. A good one to try. I like.

On cask @ the Manhattan Cask Festival
"An English E.S.B" brewed with a "way more than generous" amount of wet cascade and nugget hops freshly picked from Long Island. The aroma is grassy, hebaceous, while a big malt profile helps to carry the hops through to a lingering, lightly citrus finish. I was expecting a little more in this beer in the way of hops even though it is considering an ESB, but overall a very drinkable session beer, would love this to be available all the time
