Copenhagen 20/5 2018. 75 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Obscure label looking like something from the Eastern Europe propaganda Art Studio during the Cold War.
Pours dark, murky reddish brown with an off-white head. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam.
Not much sourness in the nose. Sweet fresh fruit with strong citric overtones. Slightly acidic. Roasted malts and a little Caramel.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
Kind of a strange and confused brew. Too sweet to be a Sour Ale - but if you are into a little roastiness meeting a moderately sour ale, this could be your beer.
