Bottle from Albertsons. Malty as to be expected from the style, lots of sweet malt flavor. Nothing in particular stands out on this, and a bit out of season in September.

Growler filled last night. Good fill with very little air in the growler. Put the tap it cap on it tonight, and gave myself a little sample in a 6oz sample glass from Georgetown.
Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Small amount of very slow, very fine carbonation. Smell is crisp, very pilsner-like. Lemon zest and grass.
Taste is surprisingly sweet, pleasantly so (for a small sample). Malty. Hay, mildly yeasty.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied but sticky. I like it...but I want it to be a bit crisper and bitterer, and I don't know the style terribly well.

22 oz bottle bought from "Lifesource" grocery in Salem OR. excellent price of $4.99 Ok here’s to Governor Tom! Slightly hazy golden coloured beer with a nice thick and frothy white head. Aromas of honey, bread and soft toffee. Slight herbal hop. On first taste sweet honey, creamy toffee, some herbal hop..less sweet in the end but still creamy. Nice. Very nice silky smooth and creamy mouthfeel..Alcohol is well hidden Fine stuff. Nice beer good bock!

Served in Nonic. Poured a beautiful, clean, clear honey-gold color with over 1/2 inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma had a great grain-malt base, with just enough floral hops showing through to provide some contrast. There was a slight sweetness on the tongue, but the grains and hops countered it nicely. There was also a noticeable alcohol taste, but it seemed to complement the other flavors, not distract or detract from them.
The body was nicely smooth and full, and the drinkability was excellent. Overall, an excellent brew, a must try if you see it. On a side note, this brewery gets a ton of regional love, but for some reason, they just don't push my buttons. I've never had a "bad" beer from them, but I also don't get the fanatical following they have. This beer is clearly the best brew I've ever had from them, and helps restore their reputation in my eyes.

Clear golden color in the Blanche de Chambly goblet with quite a nice head with a vigorous pour. Moderately spritzy on the tongue. Hugely aromatic with gardenias and flowery hops. Body is lighter than expected with all the malt.
This is the classic Maibock: malty and moderately sweet brew with a hoppy edge. Supposed to be brewed with Oregon-grown Sterling hops, and IBUs are rated at 30. Rich and the sweetness stays with you. This is a more mellow and fruity version with just the right bite at the end. It tastes stronger than it is.
Tasty and thoroughly drinkable brew that is above the average for this style. Nice or sipping. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Central Market - Shoreline in north Seattle.

Pours two finger of head on a clear straw colored body.
The aroma is briny and barnyard lemon and grapefruit. Actually a good blend.
The taste is clean, kind of grainy malt with some mild lemon bitterness.
The texture has a good fizz to it with low carbonation.
Easy to drink and enjoy.
