Note: I am not rating this as a traditional Czech/Bavarian Pilsner. It's called a "cascadian" pilsner. God knows what that means in terms of what they were shooting for, but I have to say, I really loved this beer. It's crystal clear, maybe a touch dark (1 SRM). Dry bready smell with some melony hops thrown in (both aroma and flavor). Guys, it's so nice. I hope you can find some...

The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is really the best part of this beer, as I pick up cookie and bread dough, straw and grassy hops. The flavor profile replicated the nose, but damn if the (relatively) high alcohol didn't kill some of that flavor. There was some noticeable heat in the finish I thought, and alcohol seemed to overwhelm some of the hoppy bitterness I was expecting. Still a nice beer, but the high alcohol does this beer no favors.
I truly wish brewers would stop trying to make these high alcohol pils. Invariably, it ends up not blending in very well with the flavor profile, and adds nothing to the drinking experience. While this was still a pretty solid pils, IMHO, it would be even better if the alcohol was closer to 5% or 5.5% (which would allow the hops and malt to shine).

Nice pilsner. Crisp and clean. Cascade hops give it a nice edge.

Bottle from Albertsons. Clear, medium golden body with nice fluffy head. Grainy aroma, bread, slightly musty. Taste brings in the hops, evening out the malts, nice mild bite at finish. A pils with a little extra...

22oz bottle provided by @mr-jj, served in a large mug. Date near the bottom of the bottle is 01.18,2016.
Pours a crystal clear golden with a giant white fluffy head and medium carbonation. Retention is good. Pretty looking beer. Smell is classic German pilsner -- yeasty with a crisp greenness.
Taste is also crisp and clean German pilsner. Again yeasty, with a familiar lagery tang which is fairly muted (maybe because it's so fresh?), just an echo of honeysuckle and a nice clean bitter finish. Seriously one of the better pilsners I've had, Germans be damned. Seriously, if this beer is available the next time I have German colleagues around, I'm handing it out with a smug look on my face.
Mouthfeel is crisp, clean, and dry. Overall, this is an excellent pilsner.

Let's first start by saying that I have yet to be disappointed in any one of Pelican's beers, and I've had quite a few. Hold on to your brewmaster!
Beautiful, deep golden color, nice lacing, and solid head--I wasn't expecting this from a Pilsner. At 7% ABV, this thing drinks mighty smooth. Good nose, and clean flavor profile. Nice bitter at 50IBU, but really so well balanced, the IBU just gives nice body to what's supposed to be a relatively light beer.
Drink this one, and don't think you are getting an average Pils...if we consider Pilsner to have a Bohemian quality...well, this redefines that and brings it in a truly Bohemian way.
Well done, Pelican! Well done.

Bottle from Trader Joe's. I can't remember when i last bought a Pelican beer.
A clear burnished copper with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is very, very clean with spicy hops, a blend of mint, earth and a little resin. The resin does move this more towards an imperial pilsner, as does the mild sweetness on the nose. Doughy with honey, clean pils malt, with a fraction being caramelized. The palate opens hoppy, mildly bitter and somewhat resiny with grass, mint and earth, all incredibly fresh and refreshing. Mildly sweet on the palate with pils malt, honeyed pils and caramelized pils, all lending a wonderful doughy flavor. A long, hoppy, mildly bitter and mildly sweet finish, clean, mildly pine like even. Carbonation is moderate, making this medium-light bodied beer soft and creamy on the palate. While I typically detest sweeter/higher ABV pilsners, this one is really nicely done. Impressive.

This is a great imperial Pilsner, with a wonderful cascade twist. A great Pilsner malt bill wth a nice pillowy head on top of a deep golden body. Very smooth, sweet malt taste complexity followed by a refreshing yet long lasting finish. Probably one of my top imperial Pilsners.

Reluctantly picked this up because I wasn't in the mood for a pilsner after a brash of cold weather, but being brand new on the beer shelf I knew this was fresh. I was surprised at how great this beer is. Replace the crisp dryness of a typical pilsner with the rich sweetness of this beer add a citrus punch of hops and a creamy mouthfeel and we have a winner. Refreshing yes, watery no, but a great beer to tout the potential greatness of a well made lager.
