a lovely hoppy southern hemisphere pils, distinctive, clean, not overdone, low bitterness, and as good a compliment to the fresh fish in here as any of their refined and high end brews, this is professional and tidy, expressive and fresh, real well made. very blonde and clear, lighter than many, less than yellow, minimalist in a pretty way, patchy airy white head, delicate. aroma is gentle white wine, cut melon, mowed lawn at a golf course, green gooseberry, verdant a lush and springy, not much bitterness, very light pils malt character, almost neutral lager yeast too, its the hops that lead, hints of jasmine, kiwi fruit, and green papaya, could be nelson in this. the flavor is similar, a little less alluring maybe, more from the grain now and with the hops sort of having a moment just past the center of this, less persistent than in the aroma, but still awesome, lime leaf, elderflower, distinctive minerality, just a touch of like a green glass type thing but somehow appealing rather than off, no freshness issues here, just like trace sulfur or something, meadow flowers, low alpha, very dry, slightly feminine to me, light champagne and lemon at the very end, so good with raw fish, but probably very food versatile. bubbly and drinkable, still retaining a pils identity, but the new zealand hops really make it what it is. the beer here is astoundingly good, definitely check this place out if you are in vegas, its not to be missed!
