A- Jet black with tan head
S- Smoke, chocolate, citrus
T- Follows the nose. First sip was like smoked chocolate and I was hoping it would stay that way, but soon the orange took over. Very strong smoke, followed by strong orange. Almost no barrel.
F- Nice and thick
O- Could only make it through 6-8 oz. Not bad, but not great. Would have loved more cacao and less orange.

Poured from 750ml bottle (brown wax).
Nice looking, solid head that faded quickly. Orange was dominant but not overpowering on the nose, mild on the flavor, where the cocoa took over for most of the glass, until the smokiness finally returned mildly as it warmed. Mouthfeel was thin and carbonation seemed a touch off. Much more enjoyable than anticipated.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Black body. Doesn't appear as inky and black as previous batches. Small khaki head and a wispy surface.
Smell - Lots of orange. Orange peel and chocolate. Lighter smoke aroma, but still present. Faint bourbon.
Taste - The orange is very strong and tingly from the alcohol. Sweet chocolate. Almost covers the smoke, but it comes back in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Boozy. Well carbonated.
Overall - The orange is intense, but it tastes good. Still doesn't blend quite so well with the smoke.
