This is an American Adjunct Lager brewed with big hops and a dose of guava. It has the Adjunct Lager body and carbonation but the guava and the hops take it to another, far more flavorful and satisfying level.

The beer pours out a lightly hazy pale golden straw color, with a thin white head and beautiful lacing-------------- the aromas are of grain, guava, bread dough, citrus and grapefruit------------------ the flavors are of citrus, bread dough, grapefruit and guava, the beer has a thin mouthfeel with a pithy bitter dry finish----------------- overall this beer was nice, it was a fun beer I like the addition of the guava, the base beer by it's self was hoppy and refreshing but the guava just gave it a tropical spin on things

Pours a gold color. 3/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus, yeast, pale malt, hint of bacterial funk, slight floral hops, and earthiness. Mouth feel smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable dryness. Fits the style of an American Pale Lager. Tastes of citrus, yeast, pale malt, hint of bacterial funk, slight floral hops, and more earthiness. Overall, good appearance, aroma, complexity, but body is lacking.

16 ounce can into lager glass, best before 11/1/2018. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of juicy guava, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, citrus peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, guava, and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of juicy guava, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, citrus peel, light pepper, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of guava, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, citrus peel, pepper, pine, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, guava, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeasty notes present. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a very good hoppy fruit pale lager. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, guava, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Not quite IPL, not quite fruit beer; somewhere in between. Very well balanced between hops and guava; nice clean bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable and pretty unique offering.

A: Pours a clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass with faint to moderate amounts of burnt orange + amber colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that quickly reduces to a couple of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of tropical/pink guava as well as moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + cracker malts.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + cracker malts with a minimal amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of tropical/pink guava. Finally there are moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit + spicy/peppery hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Lightly crisp upfront with a fairly clean finish.
O: Enjoyable and easy to drink with a nicely present pink guava in both the smell and taste. Alcohol is well hidden and I could easily have a couple of these.
