Seasonal draft at the Oak Creek Brewery & Grill in Sedona. Served in a pilsner glass topped with an orange slice.
A - Has the look of a lager, its a filtered wheat ale so no cloudiness here. Light golden color, moderate effervescence and a slight amount of head on this one.
S - A little like orange creamsicle, both the orange and vanilla absolutely dominate the nose. No hop, grain or yeast character to be picked up.
T - Strongly citrus, so much so it drinks more like a fruit drink than a beer. I liked this as a changeup though, the orange sweetness was mellowed a bit by the vanilla tones, and had a nice tanginess also.
M - Light and refreshing, the citrus zing and sweetness linger pleasantly.
O - Good for one, I wouldn't have a few. Still,every once in awhile...mix things up.

On tap at the Oak Creek Brewery & Grill in Sedona. Pour was light golden, very clear, with a durable white head. Served with an orange slice that was removed.
Aroma: smells quite sweet, with a strong component of vanilla, Also honey and orange.
Taste follows: a bit too much orange, a suggestion of honey, some light orange peel. Thankfully, less sweet than the nose suggests.
Light body with carbonation that seems lower than it should be.
O: Unless you like sweet beers, avoid except for use as a delicate dessert beer, for which it may work well.
