I had this beer on-tap in a bowtie schooner glass at the brewery in Kingston.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a lightish haze and a finger of pillowy ivory foam atop.
Smell: moderately sweet and lightly fruity with a little citrus and a bit of a Fruity Pebbles thing going on. Not too bad, though.
Taste: caramelly malt with some more of those miscellaneously-fruity hops. There’s a moderate bitterness that doesn’t quite balance the sweetness. It’s certainly not bad, but it’s not my favorite IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly cromulent IPA I wouldn’t mind ordering if it was my only hoppy option, but nothing I’d go out of my way for.
