Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Can is dated 2/9/25, but since this brewery just started selling beer like a week ago, I’m guessing they just failed to set up the date stamping machine correctly and this was really canned 2/9/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt is somewhat sweet with kind of a corny malt character. Maybe not a 100% “clean” aroma, but it’s okay.
Taste: kind of a sweetish malt with a bit of that corn character from the aroma and a soft, yeasty flavor. Kind of like a cream ale, or something. Bitterness is low; it’s not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it’s not too bad. There is a bit of corniness to the malt, but it’s appropriate to the style, and the hop bite adds a decent balance.
