Stien Saison is a full-bodied yet refreshing beer. Top-fermented and with refermentation in the bottle. Just like Stien, the Saison has a long history. In the past, the Saison was brewed in winter and stored until the harvest period, when the summer workers needed some refreshment.
A thirst-quenching beer was part of that refreshment. However, back then the beers were even lighter in alcohol content. You were allowed to drink a few glasses, but the intention was not to get drunk.
The Stien Saison is slightly fuller at 5.8%, and is great on a terrace, but also goes perfectly with pasta or chicken.

Can. Light amber. Misty. Thick white billowy head with lacing.
A yeasty aroma. Spicy cardamom and silage. Sweet and sour.
A lightly bitter rustic flavour reflecting the smell.
A dry refreshing feel. A vibrant carbonation. Medium body.
In style.
