8210 Bruin could easily have been a Belgian Dark Ale, but UnTappd styled it as a Dubbel. So why fuss?
Bought to warm me up before the meal at Hoeve Papehof (as we were eating outside on a sunny but cool first day of Spring.) 8210 has a big head and stayed active, so it seems to have a good yeast. While it kicked up some dark fruit associated with the dubbel, it was modest. Tastes also were indistinct, maybe more spices would be nice. Both rated only slightly above the style's average. Not quite medium-mouthed in a full-ish style.
I give good Overall Hugs to this nano, which seems like only one step from being a home brewer. But he has been sticking with it and growing slowly. So, op wu Gezondheid !
