Chiswick is an ESB brewed with East Kent Golding hops which provide a balanced earthy hop bitterness. There is a moderate malt presence with notes of caramel and toasted bread. Overall a well balanced and approachable ale.
The name, Chiswick, comes from the district in West London where the first ESB was brewed.

On tap at the Xul taproom in West Hardin, Knoxville yesterday lunchtime.
Great looking beer, clear reddish amber body, persistent off white head leaving a sheet of lacing. Aroma is malty and earthy. On tasting, full flavored, earthy hops, moderately bitterness. Finish is lasting.
Overall, very good interpretation of the style. West London would be proud.
