Jacobsen Saison a la Bun is an organic Saison, brewed exclusively for REMA 1000 with upcycled Artisan sourdough buns from Jalm&B.
Lightly blurred golden color with airy foam crown. Scents of cloves, citrus and tropical fruit. Fresh full flavor with a slight dryness without aftertaste.
Perfect for grilled and oven-roasted roast pork or chicken in a freshly baked sourdough sandwich. Also delicious for fresh salads with citrus dressing.

Copenhagen 28/2 2025. 44 cl can from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. White can with The Jacobsen brand logo surrounded by blue drawings of bread.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and a bit fermented odor balanced by a tart scent. Bread anf grains. Whiff of alcohol and overripe Stone fruit. Citrus and black pepper.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a distinct sweet undertone. Lingers shortly. Finish is rather dry.
Quite middle of the road - but fine for a Supermarket exclusive beer.
