Nut Brown Ale. THE CARIBOO REGION IS KNOWN FOR ITS MULE DEER. WHETHER IT'S A BIG BUCK MOVING THROUGH THE FIR OR A HERD MUNCHING IN THE GARDEN, MULE DEER ARE PART OF LIFE HERE. THIS DEERSTALKER IS A BRITISH STYLE BROWN ALE; A MALT FORWARD BREW MADE WITH FLAKED OATS, BISCUIT MALT AND A TOUCH OF CHOCOLATE MALT GIVING A NUTTY TOASTED CHARACTER. AFTER A DAY ON THE BACKROADS, ON THE TRAIL OR IN THE GARDEN, THIS NUT BROWN ALE IS A GREAT WAY TO CAP OFF YOUR ADVENTURE. A DEERSTALKER HAT DOESN’T HURT EITHER.

Look: Opaque brown with a medium tan head that has shoddy retention but leaves good lacing.
Smell: Rich creamy malts.
Taste: Delicious balance with roasted malts upfront and gentle chocolate on the finish.
Feel: Medium in the mouth and nicely carbonated.
Overall: A very clean brew that goes down easily. I’d definitely recommend this beer.
