Amber color with a thick head with medium retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of caramel and toasted malts.
Flavor with notes of caramel, slightly toasted malts, herbal hops, wood and mild spices. Medium dry aftertaste with a low bitterness.
Light body with good carbonation.
Balanced and refreshing Marzen, plain but pleasant enough to drink a few.

This is a 2015 Club Colombia picked up at Carulla, let's give it a whirl. It is noted on the can to be a Marzen type beer. Popping the top I get light DME waft and a bit of adjunct? Pours to a deep golden color with a thin head that quickly disappears. On the taste this brew has a nice smooth mouthfeel and good body. Continuing with a sweet maltiness up front and slight bitterness in the middle, returning to a sweet finish and aftertaste. A tasty selection by Bavaria.
