Having added both this brew and the Place, I should confess my mistake and say that Stratford was a town, but is now part of London. Anyhow, the pub has a great setting in the Olympic Park right near where the athletes were housed.
This house Lager was refreshing after playing tennis, so did its job. I listed it as a Euro Pale, but it could easily be a German Pils as the hops finish strong. And maybe this could be among the emerging style of an English Lager.
House Lager Looks average, some foam though dissipates quickly. Smells are mostly malt. Tastes are well balanced though as the bitter hops finish with a long lingering. Not quite Medium-mouthed.
While Brew Street primarily sells its refreshment and food to hungry park-goers and families, it is encouraging that it brews its own beer on a nano and contract basis. While only two years old, I give Brew Street good Overall Hugs. Cheers !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
