Clear, light golden hue, some animation, the frothy white head was served with about a half finger in height. Yep, it looks like a Pils. The head had good retention, a loose cap hung around a long while and it laces very well, webby lace galore. A hard whiff equaled a clean nose with basically no indication of its existence. I sniffed again. Nothing. Moving on. The palate is very clean, upfront is malty sweetness, adjuncts as well, this aspect is tolerable. In the middle is nondescript clean maltiness. There is faint, distant but needed hops bitterness at the finish. It does a fair job at balancing the brew. This is not a Pils, but a "Light" Lager of typical American Macro origins. But I had expected this. Medium-light body, albeit thin, crisp carbonation, it is refreshing, especially if this is your style of choice. Easy to drink but I did not enjoy it much. Boring but tolerable and nominally better than B/M/C. Skip it.
