Pours a nice hazy murky orange color, big off white head large bubbles that fall to good lace.
Aroma is light honey at first quickly moving to lightly funky wheat, hay base. Some tart fruit notes and spice peppery clove. Nice nose for a farmhouse ale, little more tart and less funky then most but good.
Taste is not quite as good as the nose, funky notes on a bread like base. Some horse blanket notes but over powered by tart lemon/orange citrus zest. Finish is diminished by excessive burst of carbonation but the peppery clove tries to come through with some herbal hops.
Mouthfeel is light but carbonation is too much for my tastes and I believe ruins the flavors somewhat.
Overall enjoyable probably the best beer I have had from this brewery, maybe its just my bottles but think carbonation knocks the taste down a notch. Love to have some less carbonated.
