Having this beer on tap at the brewpub. This peer draws a somewhat cloudy/hazy medium golden color with a white head that’s about 1/2 Inch thick when first drawn and served. Head quickly settles to a very thick foam ring lining the inside of the glass with a film layer of surface foam. Aromas of bready, slightly zesty malts, a bit of musty funk, and some peppery notes are all present. Flavors of some bready, zesty malts with slight caramel sweetness and a bit of yeasty funk along with some herbal flowery-ness, as flower petals are one of the ingredients in this beer. Also a nice note of peppercorn. Has a crisp, also smooth, frothy, medium bodied mouth filled with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly dry aftertaste. A pretty good Representation of the style of beer.
