Another “pub exclusive”. Having this beer on-tap at the brewpub. Served in a pint glass, this beer draws a clear, light to medium golden color with a white head thats about 1/2 inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles to a fairly thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some good lacing. Aromas of some slightly bready, zesty malts and a bit of a spice note along with a bit of a fruity note that is from the paw paws. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned slightly bready, zesty malts, a bit of funky spice, and a nice paw paw presence. Rounded out with a floral, slightly herbal, hop note. Hey very well balanced flavor profile, has a crush, also smooth, medium body mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Very refreshing and easy to drink. This would make a great, very crushable beer to drink in the summertime. Has a clean finish. Very nice take on this style of beer, and that the paw paws certainly add just enough of that extra something that I have never had in any other beer before and that I feel works extremely well here.
