Another “pub exclusive”. Having this beer on-tap at the brewpub. Served in a pint glass, this beer draws a slightly cloudy/hazy, mostly clear, light to medium golden color with a nice white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Eventually settles to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass along with bits of swirls of foam here and there on the beer's surface and some pretty good lacing lining the inside of the glass. Aromas of bready, zesty, smoked malts and some wheat along with some floral and slightly earthy hop bitterness. The taste is pretty much the same, with some zesty, bready, smoked malts with slight sweetness and also some wheat notes that give way to a floral and slightly earthy hop bitterness along with a very slight hint of sourness. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and just slightly dry aftertaste. All of the flavors linger nicely on my palate for the aftertaste. Quite a good beer here.
