A - Served a dark black with a finger of frothy off-white head atop. Head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some good lace.

S - Aroma is a mix of roasted caramel malts with some spices, pepper, and Belgian yeast.

T - Starts off with some roasted malts, some pepper and other spices, and some light Belgian yeast. Through the middle, some richer lightly burnt malts come through with some more spices, yeast, and a bit of floral flavor. The finish bring some more roasted flavors with some yeast and spices.

M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a toasty and spicy finish.

D - Very drinkable. Nice dark sasion with a good balance of roasted flavors and traditional saison flavors.
