The bartender at Fries cafe, Cincinnati poured this a little too carefully so the head was a bit small over a beautiful, clear, pale golden body. Left a nice lace in the glass, nonetheless.
Nose of cardamon pods, fresh cracked black pepper, cloves, and saffron.
Taste confirms the nose as one of the prettiest, pure saisons I've had. Wonder if its spiced or if its just the yeast.
Good, light, proper body.
Unexpected, gorgeous saison from 21st amendment. Very nicely done.

On tap at the Hudson St. Stackhouse.
The beer pours a solid gold color with fairly good head retention and light lacing. The nose fairly typical saison, showcasing light clove, honey, a hint of orange and some underlyhing spice. The flavor profile replicates the nose, but I'm also getting an interesting rose and lavendar component. It helps to dry out what is already a fairly dry saison. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a fairly long, spice filled, slightly bitter finished. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile and is almost unnoticeable.
While noting earth shattering, this is nevertheless an enjoyable summer saison style beer from 21st amendment.

Had on tap at the Driftwood Tavern Plymouth, MA
Appearance: 1/2 inch head, gold in color, clear, low carbonation
Smell: super floral and pepper
Taste: florals dominate here--maybe a touch of lavender. there is light pepper, anise, and hay
Mouthfeel: light carbonation, light bodied, slightly sweet and funky
Overall: A very enjoyable light beer that reminds me of summer. The smell is great. I would certainly look for this again.
