Bottle.
Orange gold color. White head.
Very hoppy saison. Floral, earthy, herbal, bitter. Bready. Light citrus. Saison flavors all around. The bitterness doesn’t build too much.

It pours deep orange-amber color with a big, long-lasting white head. Beautiful laces stay at the end. It has an intense spicy aroma which is highly peppery and earthy. Lemon-like fruitiness is in background. Due to very complex taste, you can detect different flavors in every sip. Biscuity, honey-like, bready flavors combined with spicy touches. Slightly funky, lemon-like acidic sourness is in background. There are enough bittering hops to prevent this beer from being malty. Belgian yeast and rye accentuate the spiciness in finish and it finishes dry as expected. Quite effervescent. In spite of high attenuation, the body is not thin. Refreshing, smooth and quite complex. Another very good saison from Brasserie Fantome.
