A 750ml corked and capped bottle, with a best before date of end of 2022. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: Surprised that this was not a gusher considering the other two hopped varieties that I tried were slow gushers that just couldn’t stop. It was a hazy golden orange colour with an almost two finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly to a thin cap, while leaving some decent lacing.
Aroma: Grapefruit zest, candied citrus, lime, orange, honey, yeast.
Taste: Sweet, orange, candied citrus, malt, caramel, herbal, bubblegum notes, honey, yeast, with a spicy kick on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with high carbonation.
Overall: Carbonation was too high to make it easy to drink, but the aroma and flavours were quite nice. I think I preferred the Sorachi version just a little bit more though (despite ratings showing this to be higher due to ‘appearance’).

Bottle. Large white head. Lace. Golden orange color. Cloudy.
Herbal, grassy, earthy, and a bit floral. Very funky. Classic tome saison spice flavors. Very fresh, crisp, and clean. Easy drinking. Some perfume and hay notes in the finish. Very enjoyable.

Drinking my cellared bottle 2/23. Lot e12 18 bb 2022
Grassy, herbal, spicy, orange peel, and floral hop finish. Light bitterness, but no where near how intense some can be. This is a very nice saison.
