750ml bottle into a matching Fantome tulip. This one is highly carbonated as the suds come flying out as soon as the cork is removed. A light yellow colored brew rests under a mountainous topping of white froth composed of large bubbles. A full wall of lace sticks to the glass as the cap slowly fades.

The aroma of this is lemony with an herbal component that is almost minty smelling. Peppermint mixes with earth and a touch of oxidation to make for a unique but enjoyable smelling brew.

Thw flavor is lemony and lactic with a depth of lemon perhaps exaggerated with coriander and a touch of garden herbs. The aftertaste to this brew has almost a sort of mild root beer quality that was so strange yet intriguing and refreshing. That previously mentioned peopermint quality resides faintly after each sip.

This is a light bodied brew with an effervescent level of carbonation. A very refreshing brew that seemed like a sort of hybrid witbier blended with berliner weisse and aged with mint and herbs. I would drink an excessive amount of this during the summer if it was possible to acquire more.

Bottle at Fantome-a-thon 2012

The pour is pale straw color with a white head, fairly lively carbonation. The nose is quite fruity and sweet, but also a touch watery--almost seltzer-like. A bit of an apple cider thing going on as well. The flavor is sort of bland with the seltzer water flavor being well represented. A bit of cider along with some hints of spice, yeast, and citrus peel. Quite strange.

Santé 1-19 vertical. Thanks Stakem!

Clear yellow body with a thick, soapy white head. Aromas include musty funk, basement, ladies' perfume. And who doesn't love ladies? Radish, mint, phoenix tears. Tart and dry. Complex and unique.
