Big thanks to Brad for the share. 750ml bottle corked and capped poured into a matching Fantome glass. The brew appears a clear copper color with a white head that retains well considering this brew's age.
The nose on this reminds me of cider with a backing of minerals, earth and corky oxidation.
The taste is tart with cidery feel like apples mixed with lemony lactic notes and a dry cork-like oxidation mingled with herbal bitterness.
This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Overall not bad considering this is like 14 years old. Id drink it again if the opportunity presented itself but I think newer bottlings are more deserving of your time/attention.

Santé 1-19 vertical. Thanks Brad!
The beer is light golden and clear (later pours are murky). Rain, basement, funk, mineral. Light bodied, slight oxidation. Fun but unremarkable.

Bottle at Fantome-a-thon 2012
The pour is nearly copper in color with a small tan head. A fairly bland nose. A bit of cardboard to go along with the cork. Maybe a bit of light fruit such as apple or pear. The flavor has a hint of lemon, some cork, some cardboard, and just kind of meh overall. There’s a bit of malt/bread to it and maybe a hint of strawberry.
