750ml corked and capped bottle poured into a matching Fantome glass. The brew appears a clear copper color with a white cap.
This smells of minerals, caramel malt and has almost a tin-like feel to it.
The taste is quite bitter and herbal with a dry biscuit malt character before finishing like minerals and a dusty rind-like feel.
This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Drinking all of the Santes in a row really allowed us to notice that it seemed like Dany was tinkering with different bitter hops or spices in this timeframe and while unique and interesting to try, did not pan out as well as the others.

Santé 1-19 vertical. Thanks Bryan.
Bright copper body with a soapy, khaki hued head. Aromas of rain, earth, a hint of mushrooms. Herbal with a touch of mint. Interesting.

Bottle at Fantome-a-thon 2012
A murky amber color with an off-white head. Sweet caramel and toffee with mild cardboard oxidation. A light straw note, maybe some tart fruit and pepper. The flavor is bland with a touch of sawdust to it. Caramel malt, bread, and yeast are there. Minimal fruit and acidity.
