750ml bottle corked and capped poured into a match Fantome glass. The brew appears a clear copper color with a white cap.
The nose displays some bready malt, and a hint of caramel to biscuit-like grain aspect before getting a little buttery. Of all the Sante brews, this is the only one I smelled that strange buttery thing in.
The taste is mildly tart then cider and finishes with a fresh grain character then it gets a little tannic in the finish with a faint herbal note.
This is light bodied and modestly carbonated. It is dry and decent but overall very mild in nature conpared to the rest of the series. The way the nose is completely different from the flavor profile is almost comical. You just never know what you are getting into with Dany's beer until you both smell and taste it.

Santé 1-19 vertical. Thanks Brad.
Dark orange body, mild haze, thin white head. Aromas of yeast, well water, mineral funk, tea. Herbal tea, dank, doughy malt. Zesty and bright on the palate. Interesting.

Bottle at Fantome-a-thon 2012
An amber colored libation with an off-white head. Opens up with apple and pear notes followed by a lot of bread. A surprising amount of alcohol to it, too. Some notes of yeast and grass, but overall sort of bland on the nose. The flavor is similarly unimpressive. Note much in the way of the flavorings, just some sweet bread and maybe a few fruit notes.
