Came from the tap the colour of honey, a lovely gold, with a head that disappeared as fast as it could which was OK as it looked a little soapy. Not a great beer, actually it was not all that good an ale at all. The others with me didn't like it much either. In all honesty there was nothing wrong with this ale. It just that it was very, very bland. No head (as such), no lacing, no mouthfeel stronger than a light lager. I struggled to find an aftertaste - and finally decided there wasn't one. It kept reminding me of a couple of well know macros - brewed to not offend. Unless, of course, you are looking for malt, hops, honey, or some kind of taste of something - in which case its offensive. If you're visiting Tapps drink their Shamrock Irish Red instead.
