All the hoppy goodness of a legit IPA, but with less alcohol. Huge citrus and floral aromas greet the nose from the stacks of Citra and Cascade hops added toward the end of the boil and in the whirlpool. The flavor is extremely citrus forward with just a touch of light caramel malt, giving way to a mild, hoppy finish, coaxing yet another sip.

Revived from the dead! Part of a 12 pack of revived beers, on to this beer:
This is a paler orange, chill hazed beer topped with a sturdy and soapy head. A strong aroma for what it is; raw with the hops with hop oils and hop leaf. I've come to expect a light IPA taste in these "session IPA's", and that's what Extended Play brings. Very light with the malt with a bittersweet tangerine peel to taste, and with its overall lightness, a reasonable beer for extended play.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance: Orange/copper in appearance with about 1 finger of white head. Sediment is seen on bottom of glass
Smell: Strong hops with hints of citrus.
Taste: Bitterness of the hops is the first thing that is noticed (though it is expected, given that this is an IPA). Just like the aroma, hints of citrus are noticed in the taste. There is also a mildly bitter aftertaste that is somewhat unpleasant.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with strong carbonation. Goes down pretty easily.
Overall: Pretty good IPA.

Not a bad session, just not my favorite. Appears golden-orange in the glass with haze an a lesser off white head. Smells of hops and a faint caramel and citrus scent. Taste is a little weak but decent and not extraordinary, hops, malt, caramel with a bit of citrus. This is a good session, and I'd try another.

Not a big fan of the title "session IPA " they only call it that to keep the 3 letters in the name because they sell beer. The style should be called " hoppy pale" . That being said, this one is delicious ! Big citrus, easy drinking . If Lakefront had distro in NC I could see drinking this one all summer . Cheers!

Sediment in the bottle, pours golden without too much head and very little lingering lace. Light carbonation. Excellent hoppy smell and taste with a nice IPA bite for taste. An excellent choice and one I'll keep in my rotation.
