Tasted in a pint glass from draft at O'Toole's on January 24, 2017. Look is soft gold with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Smell is tangerine, pineapple and lychee.

Bottle of Vienna/citra SMaSH brew. Off white head quickly breaks down leaving some lace. Clear, golden with light amber hue. Aromas of Vienna malt (lightly toasted) that comes out more than the citra. The citra definitely comes out more in the taste with the Vienna malt still having a significant presence. Moderate body and carbonation with a quick finish. Overall This is a very poundable brew. Easy drinking pale ale.

12oz bottle. Served in a snifter glass.
Pours a darker caramel orange body, two finger thick effervescent head, a bit too much retention, lots of lacing. Smells of caramel, absolutely like a Marzen, with a hint of grapefruit and resin. Flavour is a bit more of an astringent leafy resin combined with a crackery graininess, moderate caramel sweetness, moderate grassy and zesty bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, appropriately carbonated, as before, moderately bitter. It doesn't really taste much like Citra; I'm not entirely sure it plays well with Vienna malt, as it definitely reminds me more of a Marzen that is missing the noble hop character and has replaced that with a relatively weak hop presence, no matter what sexy name hop it is.
