12 oz bottle with a 2018 BB date.
Pours with a slightly hazy light copper colored body topped by a durable, creamy beige head. The glass gets a temporary coating of lacing upon tipping.
Fruity and lightly spicy aroma with a more herbal flavor that suggests various tropical fruits.
Good mouthfeel from lively but soft carbonation in a medium body.
Overall: my bottle of this beer, while well stored, was a bit past prime, no doubt taking some edge and prominence from the hops.

Lakefront Brewery, Inc. "SHOP2 Centennial India Pale Ale"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, "BEST BY: 26 JAN 2018-B3"
$1.83 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Look: A very hazy dark amber/copper colored body is topped by a short head of creamy yellowed off-white that drops readily but then holds well and leaves some very nice lacing behind.
Smell: Caramelish malt with Centennial hops (floral, citrusy with orange and grapefruit) as expected. The malt dominates but the hops still remain clear.
Taste: As the aroma suggests, there's really too much biscuity and caramel malt there to allow the hops to come through clearly - not that that's bad, it's a nice balance overall, but it's not the best showcase for the hops in a single hop beer. A very firm bitterness balances it and there's a suggestion of alcohol but it never really shows. Mostly dry finish with some residual biscuity and caramelish malt steadily fading away.
Feel: Medium bodied with a dextrinous edge and a gently-crisp-then-smooth carbonation.
Overall: A very nice beer. It has more of an English nature in its maltiness, but decidedly American hops. It's nicely balanced and rounded and quite pleasant and easy to drink with a little bit of extra bitterness and strength to show that it's an IPA.

12oz bottle, best by 26 JAN 2018
Rusty copper colored ale with a thin foamy beige head. Pine and citrus fill the nose with hops along with some grain and caramel. Pungent earthy piney hops provide big bitterness with some grapefruit zest; bread crust, toasty grain, and caramel malt for a backbone. Fuller body, very resinous and dry with hop oils sticking to the palate. Overall, very good one hop American IPA. I'd drink it again.
