12 oz bottle from SC into a pint glass. Consumed in July 2018.
This beer pours with a slightly hazy orange-amber colored body topped with a moderately tall, creamy, eggshell white head. The head leaves a little lacing clinging to the glass.
Aroma: citrusy hops with touches of tropical fruits and pitted fruits and faint baked bread.
Flavor: citrusy hops with a bit of herbal hops, unripe peaches, lemon and faint biscuits. Moderate bitterness for style but relatively mild in the finish and aftertaste.
Feel: soft medium carbonation in a medium body.
Overall: this well balanced IPA has some juiciness and makes the Denali hops shine.

Served from 12 oz bottle
Nice white head, some suspended particles. Burnt orange color.
Smell is wonderful. Caramel and pine. Similar aroma to workhorse ipa or other west coast classics. Heavy forestry sweet aroma.
Taste has a upfront bitterness that isn't too overwhelming. Pine and earthy notes upfront with a biscuit and malty finish.
Mouthful is chewy and not too dry. Nice carbonation, though could be less. Velvety swallow and slight warming in the throat.
This is a great single hop beer. Never having had aa single hop beer of Denali, I'm super happy with it and will be using the hop its self in future beers. As for this beer itself, it is wonderful and reminds me of a classic west coast ipa. Happy, nice malt back home, on the driver lighter bodied side, its refreshing and delicious.

12oz bottle, best by 09 MAY 2018
Hazy apricot colored ale with a foamy ivory colored head. Piney, citric in aroma and flavor, quite one-note with not a lot of complexity, but it is a one hop beer. Medium body, pleasant carbonation, finishing modestly bitter. Overall, good flavors showcasing the Denali hop, but not really worth recommending unless one had a desire for Denali.
