Ding-dong! Sorry ‘bout the noise last night. It’s me, your neighbor next door, up on the next floor. Look, I know you said, “Don’t come ‘round after midnight,” but it’s an emergency. I was making a smoothie: Comet, Azacca®, Simcoe®, and Amarillo® hops. The whole thing kinda got away from me, and I really need a roll of paper towels. It’s leaking through the floorboards; maybe you can smell it: mango, passion fruit, lemon, and wheatgrass? C’mon, be neighborly.

12oz bottle, Best by 14 AUG 18 - a little past its date but it has been refrigerated the entire time. Amber colored DIPA with a foamy beige head that settles into a thin foam. Intriguing spicy and earthy hop aroma with bready caramel malt and maybe some rye - smells like an old school DIPA to me. Interesting hop complexity with flavor notes of juicy hops, spicy & earthy hops, and a bit of tropical hop in the mix as well; malt backbone is bold with notes of bread crust, caramel, and spicy rye. Full body, ample carbonation, alcohol is warming, finishes dry and bitter. This is pretty good; it has a lot going on but it works in my opinion.
