Lakefront’s Brewing Tech, Ryan, made this Imperial Porter with Rum Barrel-Aged Coffee and Coconut. Coffee, dark brown sugar, and nutty, toasted coconut join together over a complex chocolatey and caramelly base.

look: 3.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.25
Beer pours as dark brown with a medium body, almost black, topped in a moderately thin foam. I smell coffee and coconut note with rum barrel overriding. Any chocolate flavors are muted but there. This is most definitely a porter, though perhaps a mild imperial in comparison.
