I could smell the honey and another note
Look it's probably about a 14 It's not really brown it's more of a copper color... The head color is cream there's no head retention... Carbonation is rather low... It's not overly sweet it's not overly malty ... Not really any yeast character... This was a fresh can I believe It was 90 days before expiration
Can definitely taste honey no it's more like a bee pollen.taste .. It mixes with a roasted malt It's not particularly sweet...
Feel the feel is fairly light and drinkable... It's not heavy...
Sweetness comes late... I was about to give up but it started to make my mouth sing...

From the mixed Lake Front pack, poured into my trusty Bass Imperial Pint glass, the beer is a light brown with red highlights. It has a quickly collapsing beige head.
Light on the nose, gains and something sweet. No off or odd smells.
The taste is sweet. A bit of lightly roasted malts add a toasted bread quality and the honey is present in the aftertaste. The honey is well integrated as it is not cloying or overly sweet but adds a nice dimension to the beer.
The mouth medium with low carbonation which works well with this beer.
I could easily have more than one of these in a session. Another good beer from Lake Front!

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from the Festival Store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin .it poured a clear rich amber with thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had subtle honey and grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with light sweet malt base with honey and finishing hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Another from the mixed 6 pack I picked up after getting off the plane in Milwaukee. Consumed out at that disc golf course in Marshall, WI (very cool course too).
Pours brown into my mouth on hole #1. It isn't one of those super dark browns, this one leans over to amber color. Has a lightly sweet aroma, hitting that first before any earthy maltiness.
Taste is decent for style, the malt underpinnings are light, but not Newcastle watery for style. It has a light sweet spot, helps with mouth feel and drinkability. It isn't the earthen heavy or hoppy brown ale. This is the light honey one, appropriate given commercial tug job. Very light nuttiness. More honey sweetness than anything else, but not by much. Light thin malt body, ample carbonation for style, but still appropriate. I'm not the biggest brown ale fan, but sometimes the shit works. Here, for a morning golf outing, it hit the spot about as well as it could.

Pours a light bronze or amber colored brew. Carbonation is moderate with a white one finger head of foam. Aroma is malt with a lightly roasted character. There is the slightest hint of honey in the smell. Taste is straight malt with only a slight hint of honey. Straightforward and unsurprising.

This is a 12oz. bottle poured into the Lakefront pint glass. I did a soft pour and ended up with little head with no retention. The foam was a nice rich brown, just short lived. This ale is a dark brown, but clear, with light carbonation.
The smell is somewhat silent, I am not picking up much, lightly malty.
The flavor is surprisingly solid, sweet malt, somewhat nutty, and lightly toasted.
The finish is crisp with a light bitter finish. This feel is a little on the thin side.
This tastes fine, nothing here says not again, but it is missing an aroma, the nutty, toasted flavor could be more prevalent. I want more honey! Lakefront you are still a favorite of mine!
This was a fine session beer, my NCAA Friday night beverage.

Poured bottle into shaker pint. Nice khaki head with some retention, ruby brown body.
Nose is malty with some earthy hops.
Nutty bitter, sweet malt to balance the hops. Honey is hard to place in the flavor.
Smooth medium feel.
A pretty typical brown ale. The honey doesn't really come into play that much. Not bad for the style, but not standing out either.

This is a new release from Lakefront so I was excited to try it. I enjoyed the beer and would definitely buy again, but I find it kind of boring for the style. Thats really my only complaint, it does most things right just lacks that kick.
