Billed as a Belgian-style Grand Cru. According to the brewery: “Dark brown sugar, dried cherry and date notes from Belgian yeast join together over a complex caramelly and toasty base.” Deep brown amber color with ample light beige foam that leaves lacing on the glass. There is a candy molasses and brandy sweetness that covers a massive alcohol taste along with plum, cherry, raisin and yeast. It’s a bit strong and a bit sweet but I actually kind of like this one.
